I find that these blogs things can get really long-winded so I will keep this short and sweet. I thank you for taking the time to view my page. It needs a lot of work this I know. I remember long, long ago my first renaissance experience. I was only 6, far too young to appreciate all that the Texas Renaissance Festival had to offer. Even said, it was a day that I will never forget. I was (and still am at 29) a very imaginative child. I daydreamed about unicorns, castles, and mermaids when I should have been paying attention in class. I doodled on tests and my notebooks and wished I could escape to a place where those things were a reality and not just a fantasy. I found that place at the ren-fest. I am hooked.
